I know sailing schools from the inside
Most web designers have never set foot on a yacht. I work in marketing and business development for International Yacht Training (IYT), one of the world’s largest sailing certification bodies, and I’ve spent years inside the industry.
I know what an IYT certificate is. I know the difference between a Yachtmaster and a bareboat skipper. I know that Mediterranean schools and Caribbean schools have inverted seasons. I understand what it’s like trying to take bookings from a student in three different time zones using a Gmail inbox and a spreadsheet.
I also built the IYT School Management Platform, a custom booking and admin tool that integrates with iytnet.com, so I understand what modern sailing school operations actually need.
